Shore Cling Fish - Lepadogaster lepadogaster
The colour varies from rose pink to green.
They have two deep blue spots with yellow margins behind the eyes on the back. Adapted front fins to 'cling' to rocks.
Grows up to 8 cm in length
Found in south west England, Wales, south west Scotland and Ireland.
Intertidal species. Rock pools and on seaweed covered shores.
Both parents guard eggs, which are golden coloured and are laid underneath stones in close patches.
